What a nice meeting we had yesterday, it was so good to see Krista
again before she left back for Finland. Too bad Bartek is already
gone.

Anyway, for next Monday we have something special : The Dark Knight,
the second Batman movie with Christian Bale and of course Heather
Ledge as the Joker.

Meeting in front of the UGC De Brouckere on Monday July 28th at 19h30,
previews start at 19h45, movie at 19h55

Since it is an extra long movie we will only be at the Monk around
22h45

I will also be there, but might be a bit late so don't wait for me
outside. Keep me a seat if possible. Thanks :)

Hello!

In case this movie will be very popular, I'll grab some tickets (for me and some CSers) at 17h30 (so we'll be sure to have a seat!)...

Anyone want some ?

Let me know before 17h30.

Cheers,

Mathieu.

hey all

just to let you know, someone wrote this:

"I wanted to see it saturday in UGC De Brouckère but it was SOLD OUT!!
So if you wanna see it I advise you to pass by on time. OK it's monday
now, there will be fewer people, but saturday it was very good weather
and still it was sold out...
It must really be a very good movie!!! =:-)"

so it would be probably beneficial if we arrive a bit earlier this
time, just in case. Otherwise, someone could come earlier and buy a
few tickets/passes, depending on how many ppl are interested. (I might
try but usually i finish working not early enough so i can't promise
anything. Will see later during a day)

Dear all,

I don’t know if you’re into classical, arthouse, alternative, experimental..movies, but if yes, Ecran Total in Arenberg cinéma is a good place to go. I had a look at the programme and was a bit overwhelmed by the choice, so I decided on an experimental approach: I picked up all the movies I’d like to see and am able to go to, made a list and a summary (sorry for some of them, I did that quickly during my lunch break) of them; and now one of the criteria for choosing the ones I’ll actually see will be if other people would like to come with me.

In other words, if you are interested by any of the films below, let me know, and we can go together! When I’ll have a bit of feedback, I’ll tell you all which ones have been selected, then you can join me/us if you’re interested.

Have a very nice summer in any case, full of travels (if applicable) and encounters (always applicable!).

Sylvie

I will try to come for Metropolis on Wednesday 6/8. I saw it already a couple of times, didn't like the modern "editing" they did (with colour and a Giorgio Moroder soundtrack) but I hope it is the original restored cut.
