We will organize a free guided tour of Brussels on Sunday August 19th.
The topic will be "Myths of Brussels".

Departure will be at the statue of 't Serclaes on the Grand'Place. It
is a statue of a reclining man in bronze, on the corner of the
Grand'Place and the rue Charles Buls.

The tour is free and starts at 15h00

It ends around 18h00 in Café Monk (rue st.catherine 45).
There Patrick from Canada (http://www.bewelcome.org/member.php?
cid=maplefanta) will celebrate his departure in style.

What a wonderful idea/concept! I always miss out the great stuff you organize: either I have the flu and lying sick in bed or I am travelling; I can only weep... because I am leaving that day for Avignon and surroundings ;-)....

How to get to the meeting place :

take a metro to "Gare Central" and just ask anybody for "Grand
Place"...they
will be able to direct you.

Once you are on the Grand'place, stand in front of the Hôtel de ville
(the big
white building with the tall tower) and look to your left.

There will be an arch with underneath a reclining statue in bronze).
that's
where we will be.
