I am pleased to announce that Altarum Institute will be convening a WIC Food Package Evaluation Symposium in Washington, DC on November 30th of this year (see details in the html below and pdf attached). We will showcase the findings of a number of research and evaluation projects aimed at understanding the impact of these changes on WIC participants, vendors, and the broader community.
Since the HCSN has shown an interest in keeping its members informed about WIC food package changes and implications for corner stores, I wanted to pass this invite along. Please contact me at ruth....@altarum.org if you are interested in attending and feel free to spread the word!

Expand your expertise and understanding of the impact of the new WIC Food Package on participants, communities, and nutrition policy.

Identify common themes and key findings across research efforts.
Obtain information to inform modifications of state WIC Food Package policies.
