Healthy Corner Stores Network Update

Greetings HCS Networkers!

A lot of exciting new activities are going this month to help you stay
informed and networked on your healthy corner store projects. They can
all be found here: www.healthycornerstores.org

First, the second Healthy Corner Stores Network Issue Brief was
released today. Written by HCSN co-conveners The Food Trust, this
issue's feature topic is Fresh Food Retail Development: Corner Store
Conversions. Two "Views from the Field" are featured, one from Los
Angeles and another from Philadelphia, as well as several Keys to
Success. Check it out if you haven't already!

Second, we have added 5 new press articles, 7 videos, 4 assessment/
survey tools, 1 website and 1 study to the resource section on our
website! Keep up to date on what your friends are doing around the
country in their healthy corner store work. A few of our favorites
are on the home page.

Third, we have a Facebook page! If you are on Facebook, search for
Healthy Corner Stores Network and Like us today! This will be an
excellent way for us to communicate and share pictures, resources, or
articles.

Lastly, we are very excited to announce we are making some website
enhancements this spring! I'll save the details for later, but look
forward to seeing some changes by mid-May.
