Feel a bit guilty in confessing I have not before reviewed your work on
MyHANA.org. Having just done that I again commend you & Kathy for a
splendid job well done. The site provides the user a vast amount of
useful HOA-related information, not the least of which are the links to
various related sites. Much of this may be well known to old HOA hands,
but MyHANA.org offers an invaluable one-stop resource to those new to
the HOA game.

At lunch at the ONR Neighborhood Conference this past Saturday I
happened to sit next to a young fellow (to me anyone under 50 is a
"young fellow") who had only recently become the President of a new
board of directors of a 200+ home HOA. He had never before done
anything of the sort & frankly admitted his frustration in not having
the foggiest idea of what he was suppose to be doing or how to go about
doing it. I suspect he is not alone in his frustration. Little doubt
but that he has a pretty steep learning curve before him. As a citizen
of Hillsborough County there's no better place for him--& other like
him--to start than MyHANA.org. I only wish there had been some like it
around when I first become involved with my HOA back in the early
1980's.
