It is with great pleasure that we announce the hiring of Michael Kirkland to serve as the Lake Sands District Executive.
Michael will begin his duties on July 15, 2011. He will be responsible for working with the district Key 3 and district committee to ensure that all support functions, fund raising campaigns, unit service, trainings and district activities are provided to members of the Lake Sands District.
Michael has been involved in Scouting in the Lake Sands District as an active youth and adult serving in numerous leadership roles. He has also been very involved at the council level as a member of Camp Staff and Order of the Arrow.
