If you were not able to make a Michael Beck Training for Show and Sell we are having a make up training with the help of some of our volunteers that used the plan in the previous year on May 26, 2011, 6:30 PM at 29 Eglin Parkway Fort Walton Beach FL at the FNBT.com Bank Plaza Travis Building next to Slick Micks.
I know that you have heard me talk about the success that Pack 540 out of Destin Florida had last year with their popcorn sales. The past four years they had consistent sales of $3,000 in Take Order popcorn sales.
Last year with the show and sell method of the popcorn program they were able to add another $7,000+ to their take order sales and have a total sale of over $10,000. That is a huge increase over the previous years.
One of the leaders that had a huge part in making this happen for the pack is Dennis Gates. Dennis has seen and used the "Show and Sell" method in other councils before they relocated to the Gulf Coast. This will be a meeting to learn th best practices and to receive information provided from Camp Masters regarding Show and Sell.
There is no reason that other scouting units can not have the same results as long as they set a goal and have a plan to get there. Don't let anything hold you back!!!
