APHA Invites You to a Webinar Series on:

"Climate Change: Mastering the Public Health Role"

Public health professionals are facing new challenges as the science linking climate change and human health risks continues to mount.  In fact, many U.S. communities as well as those abroad are already facing the health, disease, and preparedness problems that a changing climate brings to the forefront.  Through a diversity of speakers and leading experts, this webinar series explores the impact of climate change on human health, the role public health does and should play in confronting climate change, the challenges of communicating such risks to the public, and much more.

Join us for the third webinar in this series.  This webinar will go past the science of climate change and health, delving into the role of public health in state and local climate action plans.  It will help public health professionals realize and act on the current opportunities to use their knowledge and expertise to impact climate action plans.
