Yo-ho-ho scallywags,

Batten down your hatches and shiver your timbers, because this Friday, Aug 10, at 9:30 PM, Guerrilla Gay Bar is going to commandeer L.A.'s only pirate bar!  This month's target is -- perhaps -- our most appropriate ever:

Nestled in Koreatown is an unmarked building.  Knock on the nondescript door, a small portal will open, and a man will ask you for the password.  Those in the know will be admitted to the bar, dark and shadowy, "like the bowels of a pirate ship" with lots of hidden alcoves and a totally seaworthy jukebox.

The password for the night is CROSSBONES.  Don't forget it, they won't let you in without it!  There is valet parking, and parking is tough, otherwise -  so, pile all the whoresome varmints and scurvy dogs you can find into your car and make 'em pay for valet (else walk the plank).  Also, while R Bar  is one of the coolest bars we've invaded so far, they just don't build these pirate ships big, mateys - so, come on time, or expect to wait in line.
