GUERRILLA GAY BAR COMMUNIQUE No 47
Greetings, Guerrillas,
As many of you know, we at Guerrilla Gay Bar have never been particular fans of the number 8. It's big and round and stupid looking. Not as much fun as some of its neighbors.
This Sunday afternoon, (November 2), we're going to do something about the pesky number eight, guerrilla style.
In keeping with the spirit of our revolution, we're not going to say much more until Saturday comes, when we'll email you with all the details.
Here's what we can say:
1. The event will be in the afternoon, and will lead into one of our regular bar takeovers at night -- our Election Day Edition. Since it's a Sunday, we'll start the evening bar takeover event a little earlier than usual.
2. If you've been meaning to get around to do something to help defeat Prop 8, but have not yet, this is the perfect chance. If your straight friends have always wanted to come along to Guerrilla Gay Bar, bring them!
3. You'll be kicking yourself the next day if you miss this one. Seriously. We get excited for all of the takeovers, but this one's gonna be extra special.
