That should be Parties, plural:

If you've check out the latest Angelfire Update (in a post very near
this one) you know GOG will be in Christmas (at Marine's, that is)
Saturday Dec 18th.

Now as it so happens the Sunday before, Dec 12th our neighbors at
OASFiS are having their Party.

Via Juan and Patricia Wheeler:

"OASFiS Christmas Party

When: Sunday December 12th starting at 12:30 pm

What: Celebrate the holiday season with good food, good friends and
good conversation.
Food will be provided (main course and soft drinks). If you can,
bring a dish (appetizer, salad, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert,
etc).

WHY: To celebrate the season and hold OASFiS elections.

We will be doing a Yankee gift swap again. If you want to
participate, bring a wrapped and very cool present ($15 or less).

You can renew your OASFiS annual membership ($25) and still get a
convention membership at the very low price of $30.

Where: Patricia Wheeler’s house (8029 Citron Court, Orlando,
32819):
Directions: If coming from I4 get off at the Conroy exit and head
west (away from Millenium Mall) about 3 ½ miles. The last light you
go through is Dr. Phillips. The very next housing sub-division on the
left is Wingrove Estates. Turn left in to Wingrove Estates. Take a
slight jog to the right and then take the 2nd left turn which is
Citron Court. My house is about 2/3's of the way down the street on
the left. The street number is over the garage. If you are coming
from the East-West Expressway get off on Hiawassee and head south
about 3 ½ miles. Take a right turn on Conroy and the next light will
