Christmas and the stories of Jesus are all related to migration, as well as the big portion of the Old Testament. This is a hint of how important a church of immigrants is to the Christianity. Have we developed any peculiar messages to the Christians around the world? 聖誕節跟耶穌的故事都跟移動/移民有關，就像舊約聖經的大部分內容一般。這暗示「移民教會」對基督教有多重要。我們有沒有發展出什麼特殊的訊息可跟全球的基督徒分享呢？
Having Christmas worship service before the Christmas Day is one of such special things. Many of our church participants are scheduled to travel to hometown , just like Joseph and Mary, or visiting friends or relatives during the Christmas vacation. 在聖誕節之前舉行聖誕禮拜就是其中的一項。我們教會裡不少人需要在聖誕假期內外出旅行。有時是回故鄉相省親。有時是訪問親友。
There must be many other things that are done uniquely different from those in the non-immigrant congregation.應該還有其他不少事情在我們這裡的作法相當獨特，而跟其他非移民教會不同。
We will try to share many, most, or all the operations, procedures, and management of our church affairs in this newsletter gradually for many effects including the education of church lives. 我們打算在這電子報內逐步分享教會裡許多、大部分、或全部的操作、程序、經營管理以便發揮許多效益，包括當作有關教會生活的「基督教教育」素材與課題。

Extending the effect of sermons is a new thoughts and new activity in church, at least in my limited exposure. The handouts of the bilingual sermon is not just for understanding the sermon but also for extending the ability of paraphrasing which is the basic of "spreading the gospel", a basic obligation of following Jesus. 延伸講道的效益是教會裡的新思考與新活動，至少在我的有限經歷裡面是這樣的。雙文的講道稿講義版不只是為了促進對講道內容的瞭解，也是為了延伸「釋義」的能力，一項傳福音以及跟隨耶穌的基本功夫。
