Unbreakable Hope 破不了的盼望 (?) -- what could we help 我們能夠插一手嗎?

Aren't we facing a complicated problem complex that exceeds all the problems that occurred in this globe? 我們不是正在面對「有史以來最複雜的難題」嗎？

Is there anything to do with me, about hope? 「盼望」甘我何事？

whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

We all grow up learning to be carefully selecting friends, didn't we? We have been taught to select the friends who benefit us. 我們不都是在學習「慎交朋友」的情況中長大的嗎？ 我們被指導說要選擇對自己有益的朋友。

Did Jesus teach us the same principle?  耶穌是這樣子教導我們的嗎？

How did anybody know that Jesus has been the best friend of mankind? 有誰透過什麼方法認為耶穌是人類最好的朋友？
 
Hymn-briefing 0007 on #373, O Jesus, I have promised. 聖詩簡介 0007 聖詩373首，「救主耶穌，我立志」 
This is the number 5 in the list of hymns pre-selected by Pastor Aline for her sermon on June 14, 2020. 

The first criterion for the actual selection of the hymn is to see if we had the slide sets made before.  Depending on the complexity of the hymn proposed we have to consider how much time and energy we have for making a new slide set. Then we have to think about how the hymn enhances the worship service, especially when we sing only one hymn at the end. We need something to respond to the sermon and also serve the function of a closing hymn. 選擇聖詩的第一條件是要找看看「是不是已經有多語投影片了」。依照所建議的聖詩的複雜度，要看看有沒有時間與精力去趕製新的投影片。然後要看看所建議的聖詩如何支援禮拜的功能，尤其是我們現在的網路禮拜「只在講道後，閉會前唱一首聖詩而以」。我們需要唱出回應講道並且發揮散會歌功能的聖詩。

This hymn might not be one of the best-written hymns nor the most touching one. You might find some questionable sense of theology. Perhaps it is not meant to convey theology but to release the emotion of following Jesus. When it comes to the issues of friend and friendship it might not be a matter of science or knowledge. 這一首聖詩或許不是寫得最好的聖詩或是最感動人的聖詩之一。 你可能會發現裡面有些帶商榷的神學感。也許這首聖詩不是為了傳遞神學，而是讓人抒解「跟隨耶穌」的情緒的。「朋友」跟「友誼」也許不是科學或知識的議題。
