What's your favorite tobacco?

What is your favorite tobacco? Which one is your "emergency" brand?

I buy a blend from a local tobacco store - Honey Meade which I love. In

a pinch I will buy Captain Black Royal or Gold.

Oh gosh, there is an entire world of pipe tobaccos out there! I can't
really chose my favourite, because I like them all. It depends on my
mood. This is another pleasure from pipe smoking, the selection. It
also depends on the pipe I am smoking. A very strong, heavy tobacco
should, IMHO, be smoked in a small-bowl pipe. An English blend with
Latakia, I smoke in a regular sized pipe. Aromatic tobaccos, any pipe
will do.

I tend toward aromatics. When I lived in Britain I was told they had
strict regulations concerning fillers and flavorings in their tobacco.
As a result, most of the local commercial blends were simply too harsh
for me.

I smoked continuously, so the smoke had to be very mild or I ended up
burning myself up. I don't smoke nearly as much nowadays, but I still
require a mild, sweet and good smelling blend.
