This week we have tonnes of good options for entertainment, so make an
effort to come out to at least one show. I haven't been updating you
on the performances, but a few outstanding performers come to mind as
I'm writing;
Mickey Hanson did a fantastic job at Christopher's. It was romantic,
beautiful and at moments it was breathtaking. People were dancing all
over Christopher's including way at the back! He was joined by
Gilberto Valdes who sang a few Cuban classics including the original
version of Rockfort Rock, Cumbanchero (not sure of the spelling).

Della Manley performed twice this month at Grosvenor Galleries and
then at Heather's. Both performances were well received. The Heather's
house was packed with her fans. We actually ran out of seats! Anyway,
we had a great time that night.

Kathy Brown performed at Christopher's in her usual fabulous Afro-
centric way, pulsing through the audience. The show was packed with
high-energy music and Kathy delivered it in style, educating the
audience as she went along, explaining her take on some old
favourites.

Janine Cunningham did a great job at Christopher's and we're really
excited about having her perform in the series again so more people
will get to hear her.
