Live Music Nation October 30 - November 8

We continue to work hard at making Jamaica the live music capital of
the world and we do this by bringing live music to you several nights
per week at different venues around Kingston.

This weekend's line up:

TONIGHT (Oct 30) Thursday Singer's Night at Christopher's Jazz Cafe:
Mary Isaacs, an international cabaret singer whose repertoire is
filled with show stopping songs from jazz, R&B, pop and blues genres.

TOMORROW (Oct 31) Friday Blues at The Village Blues Bar: Dean Barnett,
arguably Jamaica's best and most innovative pan player. His repertoire
ranges from the latest dancehall beats to jazz classics. His ability
to improvise on the pan and lead the band is undoubtedly masterful.

SATURDAY (Nov 1) Jazz n More at Heather's Garden Restaurant: Janine
Cunningham, the next big act to come out of Jamaica. A singer/
songwriter whose lyrics will remind you of Tracy Chapman and whose
voice is a mixture of Billy Holiday and Amy Winehouse, but Janine is a
force all of her own. Come out and support. Come early. It's going to
be a full house. She was scheduled to have two shows this week, but
her show last night was cancelled due to heavy rain.

Gayle, a young singer/songwriter. Check our Artist Page and play his
song, 86 Mark Lane, to get an idea of what he does. It's an acoustic
dancehall/reggae sound. Have a listen.

November 8:SATURDAY Jazz n More at Heather's Garden Restaurant: Della
