Optimizing the Collection System

Retooling programs to improve operational efficiency and material recovery

Thursday, May 18

1:00 PM ET

Recycling collection programs are not static and require periodic adjustments over time.  Whether to reinvigorate stagnant recovery rates, reduce contamination or simply adjust to changing conditions, it’s important for programs to evolve over time.  This webinar will feature two different approaches to optimizing material recovery programs. The first will be presented by Zabble, featuring case study example of a using technology and data tracking to right size its bin infrastructure, improve signage and address operational issues. The second presentation from HSR Zero Waste, will cite the experience of a convention center to illustrate the potential to improve material quality and reduce cost by shifting to source segregated collection streams and onsite pre-sorting arrangement.

Presenters:

Jamie Kaminski
President
HSR Zero Waste

Kelley Nelson
Product Manager
Zabble
