Dear Colleagues,
This is a reminder that the Sustainability Education Forum 2026 is happening this week Thursday and Friday! Join this event for authentic conversations, where we can engage as a community to talk with each other, to think with each other and co-create solutions to shape the future of sustainability education.
AASHE’s summer educational schedule is a bit lighter, with one webinar planned for June 17 (Campus Solutions for Low-Waste Celebrations, Encouraging Secondhand & Gift-Giving) and another for July 15 (Advancing Living Lab Through Impactful Partnerships). We will start back up our full schedule of webinars in August. Additional workshops and programs will be released throughout the summer.
However, before you go on summer break, now is the time to plan your AASHE 2026 Conference & Expo attendance (October 4-6 in Baltimore, MD) while Early Bird pricing is in effect through July 10. Whether you are advancing campus operations, integrating sustainability into your courses (or looking to get started!), or building cross-campus collaborations, the conference is designed to support your work and amplify your impact.
Never been to the conference before? This is a great opportunity to discover what the AASHE conference experience is all about and connect with peers from across higher education.
Ready to join? Explore registration options and secure your spot before discounted rates end.
Not able to attend in person? Check-out the full webinar schedule and virtual education programs (more to be added) as well as the Communities of Practice (free for everyone!) for opportunities to engage, collaborate, and learn from one another. We hope to see you at one or more upcoming events this summer and fall!
Lastly - are you a student or do you work with students? This upcoming free virtual event on Saturday, June 6, from 12:00-3:15 pm EDT, is specific for students. It includes both the second Cuspers Conference showcasing students' sustainability projects and the inaugural meeting of AASHE's Students for Sustainability Community of Practice.
Warm regards,
Daita
