안녕하세요 그린빌 식구 여러분~

이미 아시는 분들도 있으시겠지만, 아직 전달받지 못하신 분들을 위해 공지해드리고 싶은 아주 뜻있고 중요한 행사가 있습니다.

그린빌 Human Relations Council에서 올해도 지역발전을 위해 힘쓴 시민들에게 상을 수여하는 행사를 계획하고 있습니다.  지금 계속해서 후보자 추천을 받고 있고, 저희 한국사람들도 물론 후보자로 추천 가능하니, 관심이 있으신 분들은 아래의 정보를 참고해주시기 바랍니다.  

후보자 추천 마감은 2월 9일이며, 시상식 및 리셉션은 2월 24일, 토요일, 오후 5:30에 그린빌 힐튼 호텔에서 진행될 예정입니다.

It is with great pleasure the Greenville Human Relations Council announces the City’s Forty-Seventh Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception.

The Human Relations Council exists to promote understanding and enhanced human relations between all people in Greenville through education, advocacy, communication, and initiation of actions that foster the recognition of and appreciation for the diversity of our great city.

Every day, and in many ways, Greenville citizens donate their talents, energy and time in service. These citizens vary in age, gender, income, education, race, and ethnicity but they all share one thing in common - they seek to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods and communities.

The awards ceremony is an opportunity to recognize and honor those individuals, organizations, and businesses that provide services which strengthen our communities and improve the lives of others. The event will be held at the Greenville Hilton on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. This year’s theme is Celebrating and Honoring Those Who Make a Difference.

In addition to your being invited to this event, we ask and encourage you to submit your nomination(s). A description of the awards is listed here. The deadline for receiving nominations is Friday, February 9, 2018.
