NEW RESOURCE
Members of AASHE’s Scaling Up Sustainability Across the Curriculum Community of Practice produced “Teaching Sustainability Competencies across the Disciplines” a guide for instructors and others who seek to integrate sustainability across the curriculum in higher education. The guide provides:
an overview of the similarities and differences among the sustainability competencies frameworks produced by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Key Competencies in Sustainability Framework developed by the Global Council for Science and the Environment (GCSE).
support to integrate sustainability competencies into courses by identifying and developing curricular and pedagogical resources, resources for assessing student learning, and relevant examples of the scholarship of teaching and learning in this field.
All best,
Daita
