Course Overview: The Zero Waste Associates (ZWA) course includes four zoom classes (12 hours of instruction) and a five-hour group project presentation class on zoom. Students learn the fundamental principles of Zero Waste and how to use the Zero Waste USA tools for planning. After completing this course, students will be prepared to help businesses, institutions, and communities in Zero Waste planning. This course includes homework assignments, a group project, and an exam. Students are certified as Zero Waste Associates after completing the class, group project, exam, and evaluation.
Dates: March 1, 8, 22, & 29, 2023; 10 am - 1 pm PT (each class); ZOOM (link will be provided upon registration)
