About NERC

NERC is the result of an 11-state collaboration (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont) that emphasizes source reduction, reuse, recycling, composting, environmentally preferable purchasing and decreasing the toxicity of the solid waste stream. Together with an active advisory council, their projects and staff often impact national dialogues, contributing solutions to strategies for sustainable materials management.

 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Board of Directors and managing a remote staff of 2, the Executive Director will oversee NERC’s programs, projects and collaborations, operations, fundraising and external communications to forward NERC’s mission.
