Dear GreenYes Members,
Venues change, and 'Google Groups' is constantly evolving in an attempt to make things easier for users and harder for spammers. To that end, I'm starting to notice even well-vetted, long-in-good-standing members' posts show up occasionally in the spam-moderation folder. You, in turn, may have noticed a delay in some of your posts.
Posts that are usually delayed include content that may be wrongly-identified as advertisement by google's spam filters. One of the best ways to keep this from happening is to copy and paste just the crux of the important text from any web venue. Posting whole web pages is apparently one of the spam filter's triggers. Please remove any ads from pasted web content before posting. Remove any page headers, sidebars, footers or in-content ads. These often contain html code that may be interpreted as spam.
Please do not post to GreenYes from a 'tell-a-friend' link from within a web page, or from specialized 'share' buttons in apps on your android phone or iphone like "Pulse" or "CNN" or "MSNBC" because the entire page - including ads - will sometimes attempt to post to GreenYes. These get flagged by the spam moderator bot - causing your post to be delayed until I get a chance to review it.
It is also helpful if you do not include huge images, multiple images, overlarge signatures or image-laden borders surrounding your post.
