Hi everybody,
Happy Lunar New Year! Next week Katy Sides, the Community Relations Coordinator for the Greenville County Soil & Water Conservation District will be coming to talk about their current outreach efforts relating to storm-water management!
FYI, three out of five Greenville County Soil and Water commissioners are elected to four year terms, two are appointed by the state. They all serve as unpaid volunteers. The staff and commissioners meet in sessions open to the public every second Tuesday of the month at 9:30am at County Square (hey look, they meet next week the day before our meetup! I wish I could make it ...). Feel free to peruse their website here!
