Hi guys 'n gals (or, if you prefer more formal monikers, please substitute "sirs and madams")-
We hope summer has been treating you well-- personally, it's a little warm for my taste. This is your monthly reminder to come out to Coffee Underground to rub elbows with your favoritest hippy tree-hugging, bleeding-heart liberals! You may be thinking that perhaps you don't identify with that demographic/stereotype. If that's the case, we especially want you to come!
Why would you want to do that?! This month's meeting will be an open meeting! Meaning that if you want to share what you've been up to, things that have been on your mind, other pressing news, or upcoming events, etc., now's your chance (speaking duration will depend largely on turn out and number of people wanting to share). Also, if you want to provide feedback, constructive criticism, or suggestions for future speakers, we will be having a steering meeting following the open meeting/show & tell portion, so bring yourselves and ideas! Don't make me drink all by myself!
P.S. I've never hugged a tree in my life, I swear!

P.P.P.S. A thousand pardons! I neglected to note the time ... in case you forgot, it's the usual 6pm gathering, 6:15ish for starting.
