Indefinite hiatus from Green Drinks organizing

Hi everybody!
Seems like it's been a while ... I hope you all had a fabulous July 4th weekend! I write this email with a somewhat doleful air, as I've come to realize that need to take at least a few months' break from organizing the Green Drinks meetings.
On one hand, I've met many wonderful people at the meetings and it encourages me to keep abreast [somewhat] with various environmental issues, but on the other hand, I find myself spreading my energy/attention rather thin these days, wanting to balance my time on other things. Tasks for Green Drinks routinely slip off the bottom of my to-do list and attendance has fallen as a result.
I feel compelled to explore other interests and take a more contemplative approach to what I might be able to offer Greenville, which already has plenty of things going on for those interested in sustainable living, conserving the environment, and interested in meeting like-minded people.
What I'm trying to say is ... I'm so sorry Green Drinks, it's not you, it's me! *sniff* *sniff* Soooo, if anybody would like to take over for a bit, or otherwise have an informal chat over coffee or a hike, please send me an email directly, otherwise I'll shoot you all an email through this list when/if I'm ready to get things back in gear.
