Hi Julia,

Per your Oct 26 email, the Bolton Energy Committee and Bolton Local would like to co-sponsor a presentation of "Introduction to Home Energy Savings" on Friday January 15th at 7 PM. A meeting room at the Bolton Town Hall has been reserved.  Peter Wingate is the groups first choice for presenter.

 

Upon confirmation by MMA that this date will work, we will use the press release information you sent to publicize in the Bolton Common, local newspaper. This will supplement the attendance of the sponsoring groups. Will need to check availability of screen, projector and laptop. Think there is a screen, but need to confirm.  As for projector and laptop, it may be best for the presenter to bring.  That way we know that everything is compatible.

We can reimburse up to $50 for refreshments--- please send us a receipt after the seminar.  We would appreciate it if you could also send us a count of how many people attended, as well as any evaluations that people fill out.

 

I have attached our Press Kit, which should help you with publicizing this event, and I have attached the host requirements flyer, which also has a number of publicity suggestions. You are welcome to edit the materials in this kit however you wish, including changing the name of the seminar. We have been finding that aggressive advertising and partnering with other organizations in town is very helpful to having a good turnout.
