Hi Kristen,
Thank you for following up with us on our Clean Energy Choice Funds. We have, in fact, plans in the works to utilize this fund for a solar array installation on our town's high school. One of our committee members, Martha Broad, has been working closely with the town administrator and high school facilities coordinator to get the project proposal approved by our board of selectmen and to send out an RFP for this project. She is currently in the process of getting the request for the Clean Energy Choice Fund signed by the board of selectment so that it can be submitted. We are all set and will make sure all this is done before the end of the month. We appreciate your offer to help and have a good day.
Thanks,
Chinloo

Subject: Solar Electric (PV) system for Bolton - Clean Energy Choice
Hello Green Bolton!
As you know, the Clean Energy Choice Funds available to towns must be applied for by the end of this month. I read that the Town invested in a solar pathfinder with funds so far - that is great! I wondered if there were plans in place for the remaining funds. As of the end of June, the town of Bolton had about $19,000 available for PV and other related projects.
If you are interested in learning how you may be able to use the remaining program funds for a solar electric system for the town, I will be glad to provide details on how you may go about this. Additionally, we have had several requests to offer FAQ and informational sessions for solar at committee meetings. If Green Bolton members and the larger community would be interested, we would be glad to speak. At your convenience I can be reached by phone or by email.
Thanks very much for your time.
Kind regards,
Kristen
