Recyclepak prepaid recycling

Hi All,

 

After looking over the choices for prepaid recycling, I think we should try out the 4 ft lamp recycling boxes for tube type fluorescents, and 5 gallon mixed lamp recycling boxes for different sized cfls.  I would not recommend the battery recycling—batteries require more extensive safety in handling and packaging--if they short, they are a fire hazard!  Two of the long boxes are (2) x ($49.00) and four of the mixed lamp are (4) x ($80.00) for a total of $418.00.

 

I think 20 copies of the Low Carbon Diet would be a great idea, Daphne.  As a matter of fact, a great home for those books would be a energy committee sponsored  reference lectern in the new library –a self contained spot that has everything on energy efficiency, low carbon living, climate change, etc.—books, videos, solarpathfinder, meeting and tour notices, Bolton energy committee notes J.  Wouldn’t it be awesome to encourage people to donate interesting books on their favorite topics?   Martha, would that fly as a grant request at MTC?
