Thanks for explaining that you have checked with
Caterpillar and similar suppliers of equipment and processes that utilize
landfill gas and determined that Bolton's landfill is too small.
This is what we suspected, but did not want to prematurely cross the opportunity
off the list.
Your concept to put solar panels on the landfill
grounds is interesting. Per our discussion searched files and found one company
that does solar. Probably the more accurate statement is that they
coordinate engineering, finance, etc. We scoped out a project for 100M sq ft and
it did not make economic sense even with fed and state subsidies.
M=000 The cost of power over a long term hell or high water contract was
16cents per kwh VS the then current purchase price of 12.
