Good afternoon,
I want to bring to your attention an event the City is co-sponsoring that is FREE to everyone! It’s called “Green Bay Financial Planning Day” and it’s being held at the Kroc Center from 10-4 on October 22. Green Bay Financial Planning Day is a FREE event where certified financial planners will come give free one on one financial counseling to residents. This is YOUR time to get your questions answered about any financial topic you’d like to discuss. The certified financial planners will also be holding several workshops throughout the day (also FREE) including Investing Basics, Financially Surviving a Job Loss, Retirement Planning, Budgeting 101, and more! Please take the time to learn how to get your financial house in order and speak to a certified, knowledgeable professional. The planners are coming in pro bono on their own time just to help Green Bay area residents. Take advantage of this unique and free opportunity!
We do request that you pre-register so we have an idea on how many will attend. Don’t worry, you won’t be turned away at the door; walk ins are welcome too. To register and for more information, visit www.financialplanningdays.org/greenbay . I’ve attached a flyer as well for your review. This event is sponsored by the City of Green Bay, United Way, NeighborWorks, and many more local non profits.
Take advantage of this FREE day (and yes, there will be food!) to get your financial questions answered. This event will serve all age groups- from highschoolers and college students with questions about student loans, to near-retirees wanting to learn more about fixed income management. Bring your life/financial situation to the table and discuss it with a professional one on one. They’ll be there FOR YOU!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Please pass this email along to your friends and family. All are welcome!
Hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Pollitt
