Hi all –

The Brown County Planning Department is in the process of updating the
County Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. It has not been updated in more
than 10 yrs so is long overdue. They are working with all the newer
bicycle and pedestrian plans that the local communities have written
over the last several years and trying to tie everything together.
They are also looking at tying outward to other counties for a larger
regional bicycle and pedestrian system. All great news!

Please take the time to look at the draft and make sure it reflects
your vision of the bicycle and pedestrian system in your community.
Realize that they consider this to be a 20 year document with
revisions ever 5 years or so.

Think back to what this area was like even 5 years ago and be thankful
for how much it has improved. But with plans like this in place we
can make this community even better as the public right of way is
rebuilt and expanded for road projects over the next 20 years.
