William Tyndale, fled England as betrayed by the Anglicans. Tyndale
translated much of the Bible into English, first published in 1534.
While in exile in Europe Tyndale was strangled to death then burnt
on a stake by the Roman Catholics.
The Tyndale Bible too has been burnt time and again throughout
England, even up through the 1950's. Yet the Coverdale, the Matthew's
and the AV quote freely from his material with very little credit
given.
Tyndale was the first to place the Scripture into the English language.
Think about it!
The Greek Septuagint as the Old Testament is sound to this day. The
English speaking world through out history all too often alter the
text
to appease the 'masses of the day'.
One has to make up his or her mind are we to believe the
'passing ravings and chants of the day '
or adhere to the sure Word of Prophecy.
