aÓpostasi÷a

Great misunderstanding from the original Greek Septuagint or the Koine
Greek are due to tradition, getting in the way of scholarship

The following passage as an example

2 Thessalonians 2:2-3

As to coming of the Day of the Lord,
the various english translations as the KJV-AV, NASB, NIV, RSV
have such words as

'Apostasy comes first'
'rebellion'
'falling away first'

The words of Tyndale translated in 1534

'for the day of the Lord cometh not,
except there come a departing first,
and that sinful man be opened'

It is a bit amazing that the oldest English Text of the Bible has more
accuracy in many respects than texts of this day.

The Greek text 'apostasia' too often mistranslated, as there are
-endings of words and tense [ my parahrase ]
the term means literally 'there are those to be taken out'

I do not see how this changes the meaning , but it's good to
have a concordance and to learn Koine Greek.

It's too bad Greeks don't speak Koine anymore.

Does this help?
The change in the text is MOST Significant
Script does NOT say there be an apostasy as in a falling away or
rebellion

The Scripture says:

come a departing first - TYNDALE
these shall be taken out, taken away from earth - Rev MWD paraphrase

To place in simple English:
The believers in Christ Jesus, the Messiah, shall be TAKEN away,
these shall DEPART from planet Earth
before the anti christ can be revealed
before the Day of the Lord comes.

This is Where and Why doctrine of the rapture derives.
The taking away of the believers in Christ first, [ pre tribulation]
then the man of sin
devil incarnate revealed
to rule in peace in Jerusalem three and half years;
GREAT TRIBULATION then takes place
another three and half years till the DAY OF THE LORD.

This passage of II Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 3
Paul instructions, that there be No Judgement to fall,
until we, the believers on Yeshua, Jesus will DEPART
be Taken out of the way
as it is we whom hold 'the devil incarnate'
from taking leadership.
The term 'locked' used by Tyndale.

Powerful translation 1534 as these are no small wonder he fled England.
Those of the Protestant church betrayed Tyndale.
The Catholic Vatican ordered that Tyndale
be bunt alive at the stake.

Personally we prefer the Ancient Greek over Hebrew.
After all Christ when walked on earth, read from the Greek version of
the Scripture, He spoke Greek.

Ancient Greek used in the Bible; first Translations into English was by
William Tyndale.

The present Queen of the British isles, ordered the destruction of the
TYNDALE Bible in the 1950's.

The work did bring death to Tyndale and no doubt if alive today he
would be arrested by the Americans.

Many present DAY Protestants do not want TRUTH they prefer to believe
in fables.

Can we trust Tyndales version. There are just so many, one can argue
about one bible and make good points and then there are others, who
knows for sure what to believe.

We have a sure word of prophecy our FAITH is secure!
William Tyndale, fled England as betrayed by the Anglican Church.
While in exile in Europe Tyndale was strangled to death then burnt
on a stake in the the 1500's by the Roman catholic church.

The Tyndale Bible was burnt time and time again through England, even
up through the 1950's, yet the Coverdale, the Matthew's and the AV
quote freely from his material; with very little credit given.

Tyndale was the first to place the Scripture into the English language.
Think about it!

We have a sure word of prophecy.
The Greek Septuagint as the Old Testament is sound to this day.
The English speaking world through out history all too often alter the
text to appease the 'masses of the day'.

One has to make up his or her mind are we to believe the

'passing ravings and chants of the day '

or adhere to the sure steadfast Word from God?

as to the term conversion
anglo can play harsh there
the term from in the greek means to

TURN Around

the term repent
in the greek

Change your ways

last year when in wonderful Greece
met some lovely folk
however the bible itinerant carries with
him, is in the ancient greek
and found that modern greek bibles
are often like the english translations
words made more acceptable for the masses

this is in part why the Tyndale bible
been burnt time and again as blunt words can offend

these words itinerant has come up with over the years our my travels
across this earth in many cultures often translated within other
languages from the Greek

my words as to our course of life on earth

quote: STOP
take a good look at the path
CHANGE your way

Look at the LORD
as you STOP
TURN AROUND
then Follow HE the LORD

do not LOOK back
but Follow Him

>When Jesus read from the scroll in the temple, was it the Septuagint?

other words there would have have been no purpose
for the Greek Septuagint. The Jewish had been dispersed six centuries
before, only handfuls by comparisons had been allowed back into
Jerusalem,

a whole culture under Greece, then new military from ROME, occupiers.

[ fairly much as the Iraqi see US military, occupiers ]

The Mel Gibson is based on Catholicism not on naked bare facts of
history.

This is what I found in the 1960's American Scholarship is pretty lousy

when it comes to ancient languages of the Bible. The genuine article of
scholarship still remain printed in Europe. Other-words trying to tell
you you WILL NOT find much here produced in America that is legit on
this subject.

America was founded from the protestant reformation from Europe.
The grand American experiment

The Independence Declaration
The Bill of rights

have all been watered down today in name of
social correctness

May we understand

THY WORD HAVE I HID IN MY HEART
THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN - make dumb mistakes
AGAINST GOD
