1)News Conference and Rally

9:00–9:30 am
Rosetta Place Park (corner of Rosetta Ave & Evergreen Dr, Eugene)
Join BEST and other community groups with Eugene Mayor Kaarin Knudson and other City leaders to honor those we have lost and to commit to a safe and welcoming future for all.

Let’s fill the park to demonstrate that we can’t wait for safe and welcoming streets for all!

• Ride your bike to Rosetta Place Park and wear a GEARs jersey if possible
• Bring a hand sign.
• Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

2) Safe Streets Campaign

5:30–6:00 pm
Patterson Street (between East 19^th and 23^rd Avenues, Eugene)
Join ASUO and GTFF to remember those we lost, to raise awareness, and to install signs to encourage people to drive safely.

3) Celebration of Life Group Ride

6:00–8:00 pm
Start: Spencer View Apartments (Patterson Street & 22^nd Avenue, Eugene)
End: Downtown Riverfront Park (701 East 8^th Avenue, Eugene)
Join Shift Community Cycles for a 2-½-mile ride to honor Erick Munene Njue and Elizabeth Cardenas Figueroa by visiting their ghost bikes and David Winston Morris and Merle Dean Sheffield at Downtown Riverfront Park.
