I wanted to post one last message about the Texas 4000 Charity Ride coming through Eugene this upcoming week. GEARs is providing breakfast for the riders between 6:30 and 8 am Wednesday June 17, just outside the south entrance of the Eugene YMCA. We also have a sign-up on Sign Up Genius for accompanying the riders on their way out of Eugene toward Albany. GEARs will ride as far as Coburg Rd and Bowers Dr after which we'll come back on Bottom Loop and return to Eugene. Feel free to sign up for the ride and/or stop by to visit the riders at the Y before they take off. We always find these young riders to be very impressive and personable, and it's a pleasure to get to know them, even for the short while we're riding together. It's a great cause. Thanks to those who have already signed up and I look forward to seeing you Wednesday.
