Dear Diane J.,

For the second time this year, a PNHP leader will be testifying in the U.S. Senate. In February, Sen. Elizabeth Warren invited me to speak about Medicare privatization and Direct Contracting to the Senate Finance Committee.

And this Thursday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. ET, PNHP immediate past president Dr. Adam Gaffney will speak about Medicare for All in the Senate Budget Committee, at the invitation of Sen. Bernie Sanders. The hearing will be called, “Medicare for All: Protecting Health, Saving Lives, Saving Money.” Dr. Gaffney will be joined by two other leaders in the Medicare-for-All movement: Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, who was the keynote speaker at PNHP’s 2019 Annual Meeting, and Bonnie Castillo, Executive Director of National Nurses United.

Click HERE to watch the hearing live on Thursday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. ET

Please join us for another exciting moment in the fight for Medicare for All. Tune in on Thursday, and be sure to share this news with your friends and colleagues.

Sincerely,

Susan Rogers, M.D.
