Prof. Lehmann will giving a seminar on August 19th in Burlington, VT

Topic:

"Is the strength of what is known about biochar thus far sufficient to
initiate a significant investment to study the manufacture, use and
efficacy of char applications to our soils?"

Dr. Lehmann leads the Soil Biogeochemistry & Soil Fertility
Management Program at Cornell University Department of Crop and Soil

"Dr. Lehmann is co-founder and Chair of the Board of the International
Biochar Initiative, and member of the editorial boards of Nutrient

The seminar will be on August 19th, 1:00 - 4:30pm at the Sheraton
Burlington, 870 Williston Rd., S. Burlington -- 865-6600.

will not be confirmed, but those who pay in advance are guaranteed a

Note: Any income above expenses will be used for "biochar projects and
future workshops."

MEDIA

There will also be a 'media room' with easy-to-understand literature
on
all aspects of biochar, including a ready-to-print press release on
the
session. There will also be opportunities to interview with Dr.
Lehmann
and any other 'dignitaries' that join us at the workshop.
