Hello Everyone!

In response to requests for mentoring, the GSC has organized an
informal mentoring program. Several professors have volunteered to
mentor students. A list of these professors, along with their bios
and suggestions for mentoring activities can be found in the "files"
section of the Google Group Page. You do not have to attend the
university that the professor is affiliated with, nor do you have to
live in the same city or state. Mentoring activities can range from
feedback on papers for publication to advice on conducting the job
search or crafting a syllabus. If you are interested in working with
a particular professor, please feel free to contact that person to see
if they are available. Be sure to let them know that you are a
graduate student member of the ALA. If you have any questions, let us
know.

All the best,
Cara

Hopefully all is well with you. When you get a chance please send me the log in information so that I may access the mentoring program information.

Thank you.
