Moral Witnesses Stand Against a Budget That Destroys People!

From: http://www.breachrepairers.org/

Moral Mondays in DC is a recurring, spirit-led series of nonviolent actions confronting the immoral federal budget. These budgets are not mere numbers; they are moral documents. Mondays, 5-6pm Eastern, Pop Up Protest (Weather Permitting)

From: Indivisible

In this time of constitutional crises, we look for ways to be engaged citizens. Robert Hubbell said on Substack, “Our actions prevent us from slipping into helplessness and despair; at best, they inspire and encourage others to believe that we can and will win.” We are prevailing in the courts daily, but there is so much to do and it goes slowly. Let’s stop ranting over the news and inspire others to act for democracy. We hope you will join us on Mondays and invite friends.

Friday June 13, 7pm Eastern, The Haves and Have-Yachts: Dispatches on the Ultrarich

From: Politics and Prose

The ultrarich hold more of America's wealth than they did in the heyday of the Carnegies and Rockefellers. Saturday June 14, 5pm Eastern, Charlottesville: An American Story

From: Politics and Prose

Pulitzer Prize finalist Deborah Baker has written a riveting and panoptic account of what unfolded that weekend, focusing less on the rally's far right leaders than on the story of the city itself. University, local, and state officials, including law enforcement, were unable or unwilling to grasp the gathering threat. Clergy, activists, and organizers from all walks of life saw more clearly what was coming and, at great personal risk, worked to warn and defend their city.
