This happened blocks away from where Phillip Brown was shot at in his car by Homeland Security agents on 10/17/25. On the third anniversary of Debo’s murder, we will gather as a community to rally for him and all victims of police violence in DC. Join us and his family as we demand justice!

Quaker public witness has stood in opposition to cruel and authoritarian actions in our country before. It is time for us to show this love in action again.
Please join the American Friends Service Committee and Friends in the DMV to bear witness and show resistance to the authoritarian actions in our country.
On Saturday, March 21, at 11am we will gather at Farragut Square for one hour of silent public worship.
Our hope is that our presence will give hope to all who see us – to show that we can choose resistance - and remind everyone of our moral obligations to one another.
