Hi
I have devloped one JSF application which onclick on button calls a
process which is very time taking. I want to call the this process
asynchronously and display the result on browser that your call has
completed or failed irrespective of on which page the user is. Can I do
that using Ajax RPC callback?

Thanks
Shailesh

I believe you are asking this question in the wrong forum. If your
application is a JSF application and not a GWT application you should
go to the JSF forum at Sun's site to ask these questions, people will
be a lot more receptive :)

Anyway, take a look at the ajax4jsf project, its goal is to add ajax
support to JSF, at
https://ajax4jsf.dev.java.net/nonav/ajax/ajax-jsf/

One should think that people using google groups know about google "the
search engine".

The question about jsf + gwt has beend posted neraly every week

searching for "gwt jsf" or "ajax jsf" would maybe answer the question

people tend to post to mailing lists before trying to solve the problem
themselves. That´s because there are so many helpful and knowledgeable
people out there. Like on this list, thanks again to every contributor!
