Hiya!

I recently upgraded a GSA box to the latest version, however, this
error (Crawl has stopped because network connectivity test of Start
URLs failed. Refer to the documentation for more details) has now
appeared throughout the admin interface.

Despite the error, searching is working fine and the box is operating
as normal. How can I get rid of this error message? My start url, in
'crawl urls', is the url of the site that box serves.

Hello,

most likely your start urls return non HTTP 200 OK answers (you can
verify this by copying them into the Administration > Network Settings
> Test URLs box , unless you are using a proxy for crawling).

If they return 302 / 401 the appliance will assume that there is a
problem with the network. You can work around this by adding one or
two urls which will always return 200 OK .

Hope it helps

I had this same issue. The crawl would not start, and the box could
not connect to the DNS, NTP, and SMTP addresses, but everything else
was working.

Turns out that the network settings at the console level got erased
during the upgrade from 5.2 to 6.0.0-G32. The IP was set, but
everything else was gone.
