Hello!
In Admin Console, on Real-time Diagnostics page, when I use "Fetch headers for URL" field, it returns headers for one or two URLs normally and then request doesn't get any response. In browser console one can see requests to /ajax/ch waiting for response, after one minute of awaiting the following message appears:

502
Proxy Error
Error reading from remote server

After that, while clicking different links in Admin Console, I get weird popup messages like "Error 0", "Error 401 Unauthorized". Or the whole Admin Console can't be accessed both by secure or insecure connection via port 8000, browser waits for the response for some time and then shows the messages from Apache server with error 502 or 503 (Service Temporarily Unavailable). Access to Admin Console restores by itself in 5-7 minutes. Then I login the console and operate normally, but just until the time I do some "Fetch headers for URL" again. At the same time while console is not responding, GSA is pingable and even serves regular search requests normally.

The support engineer of our hosting company checked the GSA with keyboard and monitor and saw the warning:
INIT: ID "S0" re-spawning to fast. Disabled for 5 Minutes.
But I'm not sure that this message is connected with the problem.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,
Vasiliy

Which GSA version do you use ?
Under some of the 6.x versions the real time diagnostics does not work after using it too frequently.

Thank you for response, Mathias.

I use GSA Mini, version 6.10, but I don't think it's the cause of the problem, because this device worked fine before. Also we have another instance of GSA Mini, which is completely the same with the first one, but the problem doesn't take place there.

This problem does not occur on every machine and also under certain circumstances with this version.
We had this on two machines, on three others the problem doesn't occur

First, just to clarify: there's no such thing as a "GSA Mini" It would
either be a GSA or a Mini - they are two different hardware
appliances. Since it's on 6.10, it's a GSA.

Second, there are all kinds of things that can break Real-Time
Diagnostics. Sometimes it's the specific URL you're trying to fetch.
Try another URL that you know the appliance can get to, and see what
happens. I just had that problem myself yesterday, where it worked
with one URL but not with another. If it consistently fails, you can
either open a support ticket or upgrade to a newer software version.

Ok, I've understood. We have GSA indeed, not Mini. I'll try to update software first, then act in the circumstances.

Mathias, Dave
Thank you a lot, and have a good day!
