Hi, I am doing an evaluation on the configuration of GSA 6.12 & Sharepoint 2010.
When I am setting the sharepoint connector, no matter how I adjust the settings on both the GSA & the sharepoint 2010, I still cannot obtain a "Green Light" condition by the connector.
I have already release every possible permission available to that specific user in Sharepoint 2010.
I have also checked the connector log and everything seems fine.

For information, I can crawl the sharepoint site by URL.

Does anyone know if there is any known compability issue between the GSA 6.12 & Sharepoint 2010?

Thank you very much.

Use GSA 7.0 version and connector > 3.0

The GSA software cannot be updated at this moment.
Can you please advise if there is any known compability issue between GSA 6.14, Sharepoint connector 2.8 & Sharepoint 2010?
thanks.

You can certainly use GSA 6.14 and the latest 2.x SP connector with SP
2010, but there are lots of specific details about how it needs to be
set up, and there are some things the connector doesn't support
(claims-based authentication, for example).

What authentication mechanism are you using in SP?

Have you looked at the connector's log files?

Have you verified that the GSA can talk to the connector, and vice-versa?

Sorry, I see you've already said you'd done this.

Hi Dave, thanks for your reply.

I am using NTLM for Sharepoint authentication.
I have checked about the log and I cannot find any specific reason for that problem.
I tried to upload the log but it is failed to do so.
By the way, I am using the on-board connector and I can setup a connector for filesystem successfully before.

Any advise on this situation?
Thank you very much.

Are you using the connector to build a content feed or a metadata feed?

If you're using it to build a content feed, did you install the GSARK
on your SP front end servers?
