From where <FS name="date" value=" ?"> gets value

Hi

Can somebody tell me. How the xml field <FS name="date"> gets value. And from where that value comes ?

That comes from the canonical document date identified by the
appliance, according to the rules specified under Crawl and Index ...
Document Dates in the admin console. By default, the appliance uses
the HTTP Last-Modified response header to identify the document date,
unless you've changed the rules.

In addition you can create rules for GSA to identify location of date (if you have admin access) -  https://developers.google.com/search-appliance/documentation/612/help_gsa/crawl_sort
