Maps Failing To Load

Hi all,

We're having a problem loading maps at the moment.

Two errors (not always the same):

Error: GMapTypeControl is not defined
Error: tick is not defined

I've just spotted this thread on the Google Maps group which may be
useful to anyone else experiencing the problem.

The solution seems to be to add a JS function called tick meantime.

if( !tick ) {
var tick = function(){};
