Hello,

I have installed Picasa 2.7.3736-15 from the Google repo, and this is
what I get when trying to run it:

$ picasa
/usr/bin/picasa: line 139: 7852 Segmentation fault "$PIC_BINDIR"/
wrapper check_dir.exe.so
/usr/bin/picasa: line 175: 7947 Segmentation fault "$PIC_BINDIR/
wrapper" regedit /E $registry_export HKEY_USERS\\S-1-5-4\\Software\
\Google\\Picasa\\Picasa2\\Preferences\\

$ which picasa
/usr/bin/picasa

$ uname -a
Linux test 2.6.18-128.1.14.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jun 17 06:40:54 EDT 2009
i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

$ cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 5.3 (Final)

I have reinstalled it, but still have the same problem.

What to do?

thanks
Marek

Ah the segfault bug again. Please try searching for segmentation fault
in the group archives next time.

Here's the workaround:

and the previous thread:

Thanks, it worked. Sorry for the post, next time I shall search the
forums first.
