Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Long Term
• Responsibilities include UI, Load, Performance and Unit Testing, programming in C#, setting up automation frameworks, and research.
• The ideal candidate is a programmer who wants to do more testing because this person will do a lot of development and writing of code; not front-end but back-end in C#. Also, some Unit Testing but most Unit Testing is usually done by a developer.
• Experience with TFS- any tool should suffice such as GIT
• Automation tools – client has been using Selenium; not sure if they will extend the framework or if new ones will be built from scratch. It depends on the application.
• Testing on devices – the person needs to do research on strategies and what tools to use for performance and load testing.
• Best if the person is familiar with Azure portals.
• Hardware and device testing experience would be helpful
• Visual Studio – required
• LoadRunner, Storm Runner or JMeter are helpful
• Need someone who can pick up new technologies quickly and be able to do research
• Ideal candidate is someone that has set up several automation frameworks from scratch
