What I really need is a way to log time spent in various applications
while doing work through the day. Typically, I'll have 2-3 Access
databases open and running queries in various srages. Also Excel
files, Outlook, Word, various files, etc. It would be great to have a
log that, at the end of the day, to show how long i spent in specific
applications, or better, which actual files, databses, that I have
spent time on. If I'm toggling back and forth from db1 to db2 to exs1
and other files or applications, a log of time spent in each active
window that would total would be invaluable to measure time spent on
projects. Maybe not a "limiter' use but that's what interested me in
limiter at first. Anyone know of anything that does that?

i totally agree.

i know google desktop has access to every file modified throughout the
day, (don't know about how long an app was open)...

But at least, I would like to know what files I spent time on, what
programs were run...

this would help me to decide which things ***really*** need to be
hotkeys and which can just be in the start menu.
